Throughout Q4 2023, the top Maps and Navigation apps in Costa Rica showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Uber - Request a ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 14K in mid-December. Active users also showed a positive trend, reaching approximately 305K in the week of December 11 before a slight dip to around 257K by the end of the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate, with notable peaks of around 12K in mid-December. Active users for Waze fluctuated but ended the quarter strong at approximately 229K.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides experienced an upward trend in downloads, reaching over 10K in early December. Active user numbers were robust, peaking at about 253K in mid-December before settling at approximately 210K by the end of the quarter.
